About Moi

“Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip”. – Will Rogers

Welcome to a little space of mine on the internet. Here i live in the modern world with a vintage hearted soul.

My mind often teleports to the classic wonders of noir movies, wrapped up in parcels of Crime and Thriller, which serve witness to playing my interest. You could say I like my books as I like my movies, full of excitement and the ‘whidunnit’ mysteries.

When I’m not occupied with that, i often like to live in the imagination of written poetry, animations and games that tell a great adventure be it dark or light.

If you like what you read, won’t you stay awhile. Carry on glancing and browse with a smile.

    1. Thank you very much Alex. It makes me smile to hear that. There are a lot of people who do movie reviews but I hope adding my personal touch and thoughts to them add something entertaining for the reader’s. I have a peculiar taste in some aspects of what I watch but it makes it worthwhile when people have the same interests or discover something along the way. ☺

  1. Dear Madame Vintage,
I like your column. I think you express yourself very nicely. I too am a lady who likes vintage culture and old Hollywood. My column is the Pure Entertainment Preservation Society at https://pureentertainmentpreservationsociety.wordpress.com. We are trying to bring back the Motion Picture Production Code of 1930 to Hollywood. It is our means of trying to save the arts in America and restore propriety and glamour to American civilization through the cinema. I hope you will view and follow my column. I have followed your column, and I look forward to reading more of your articles.
    Yours Hopefully,
    Tiffany Brannan

    2. Hello, Madame Vintage! I think we may have commented back and forth on Paul S.’s wonderful Pfeiffer Pfilms and Meg Movies blog. I just wanted to say I love your blog, also. I’ve been meaning to dig around and explore it for a while (since seeing your comments on Paul’s posts). It’s a treasure trove of goodness! Keep up the great work.
My writing also focuses on popular culture (and especially film), but while looking at the ways it intersects with and influences my own life. So, definitely a more personal touch to many of my posts. I’ve been doing a long-running series on Michelle Pfeiffer performances, which is a blast to write. Stop by, poke around! Hope you enjoy!
